What we collect and why

This site has no analytics, no tracking and sets no cookies. When you request a quote we receive what you enter in the form: your name, email address, optional company and phone number, country, the description of your part and any photos or files you add. We use this only to prepare and send your quote and to handle the order that may follow (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to entering into a contract).

Who else sees it

• Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). GitHub processes your IP address to deliver the pages and may keep it in server logs.
• Quote requests. The form runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.). Your request and files are stored in Cloudflare R2 with the data kept in the EU. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person; it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details and sets no tracking cookies.
• Email. The notification to us and the confirmation to you are sent through Resend (Resend, Inc.).

How long we keep it

Quote requests and their files are deleted automatically after 180 days. If you place an order, we keep the records for as long as German commercial and tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your data, object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Write to hello@forgitek.com. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
